What are Dermal Fillers? How does Hyaluronic Acid work?
This product is used to correct or enhance facial contours, soften the appearance of wrinkles and improve the tone, texture and hydration of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar molecule found in all skin throughout the body. It attracts and binds water in the skin, providing volume, hydration and supporting collagen. Dermal fillers are manufactured, usually through fermentation and cross linking with proteins to produce a clear, sterile gel for injection into the skin to achieve the best results.
What areas can facial filler treat?
Dermal filler is commonly requested to soften and correct facial wrinkles or folds and to improve the tone, texture and hydration of the skin. Different products are used for different areas to ensure the best results. Prior to procedure local anaesthetic cream is applied to reduce pain and make it a more comfortable experience. Results are immediate with dermal fillers and can last 6 - 12 months when used in the face.
We use a range of luxury brands such as: Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane etc.
In your consultation we will decide which brand would suit you best and achieve your desired outcome!

The Science of Chemical Peels
Chemical peels cause intentional damage to the epidermis and/or dermis with the goal of stimulating new tissue to improve skin texture and tone. Chemical peels have been used dating back to Ancient Egypt. Cleopatra used sour milk to improve the appearance of her skin, according to some sources. Lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) is the active ingredient in sour milk.
Chemical peels improve skin texture and firmness, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. Peels also even out skin tone, improve acne-prone skin and reduce pore size appearance.
Chemical peels are classified as superficial, medium or deep, depending on the depth of penetration of the ingredients used. Superficial peels exfoliate to various levels of the epidermis. Medium-depth peels treat through the papillary dermis and deep peels to the mid-reticular dermis. The strength of a chemical peel is determined by the type of ingredients used, their concentrations and the pH of the formulation.
Beautiful skin doesn’t happen overnight. A single chemical peel can provide the immediate effect of bright and radiant skin. However, more significant results in treating textural issues, fine lines and inflamed acne take time.
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine injections of vitamins, minerals and amino acids cocktails are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin. This infusion of savvy ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity.
Treatment time takes approximately thirty minutes and whilst not painful, it can be slightly uncomfortable so an anesthetic cream can be used if skin is a little sensitive. With minimal downtime – a little bruising and swelling may occur but it will be short lived and should settle within 24 hours – skin will become more radiant, hydrated, nourished and firmer with an improved texture. A course of 6-8 sessions are advised every two weeks with maintenance treatments 1-2 times a year.
Mesotherapy can instantly improve dull, tired looking skin and superficial wrinkles but can also help to improve sluggish blood circulation, aiding the body to flush out ageing toxins. This treatment can also be used to address pigmentation problems, treat acne scarring and be combined to enhance the effects of other aesthetic treatments such as Botox or fillers.
